Although it's not open for lunch, Yakiniku Juju serves up solid, reasonably priced Japanese and Korean fare with exceptionally friendly service. Barbecue burners are set in the middle of the wooden tables for do-it-yourself grilling of seafood, meats and vegetables. The food is healthful, fresh and plentiful. "Creative" rolls, shabu shabu and kimchee are also featured on the menu, but the barbecue is the main attraction. Waiters are very patient and willing to instruct first-time diners on how to prepare their barbecue. The dining room is very cozy, occupied by area locals and first-daters; just enjoy the experience of walking up or down their spiral staircase. An eclectic blend of new wave '80s tunes provides an entertaining backdrop to the muted conversations of fellow diners.
