Still decorated for its grand opening, Fabio's stands out attractively on Hempstead Turnpike. In the words of owner Salvatore Giambanco, "my restaurant bring Italian family traditions to American soil.". Having been raised in Sicily, he is passionate about sharing Italy's wonderful dining customs with family and friends. One might recognize Sal from la Viola, Bambino de Lino, and/or Matteo's. His chef, David Manners, was formerly with Carmine's in Manhattan.

Fabio's is spacious and cozy; it has a softly-lit hunter green decor accented by hand-painted murals. Two dining areas allow private parties up to 120. Special wines and specialty coffee drinks are there for the asking. Our server, Paul, was attentive and helpful, starting us with gratis breads and a spread of bruschetta.
